Based on the Korean traditional theater, ‘A day without the Sun: The Moving day’ pictures the vibrant energy and cheerful episodes happening on a moving day. Korean chooses ‘A Day without Sun’ for a date of moving, in which Sun means ‘harm or evil spirits’ in Korean. We also have a long belief of arranging the fortunate life when you are moving on a rainy day, in other words, a day without the Sun while sound of Janggu, the Korean double headed drum which is one of the main percussion instruments played in this show represents the sound of rain. With powerful Korean drum beats, energetic body movements, and witty traditional circus and theatrical elements, audiences will experience the ultimate of Korean traditional theater.
